Mole and Skin Tag Removal

Affected Areas: Moles and skin tags are very common in patients of all ages and skin types and can appear anywhere on your face and body. Most are generally benign in nature and are easily removed, however; we do recommend a consultation to determine if the affected areas need to be examined and biopsied by a dermatologist prior to treatment. Mole and skin tag removal is a quick and painless procedure that is performed by using an electrical current.

How It Works: We start the treatment by numbing the area to be treated with topical numbing cream to ensure patient comfort. The moles and skin tag are then quickly treated by delivering small amounts of electrical pulses to them which results in complete removal of the affected area.

Recovery: There is no recovery time associated with this procedure. Patients may experience areas with minimal swelling and scabbing which quickly disappear. If a patient has more than 20 areas to be treated, return visits are required to remove all moles and skin tags.
